Lowbrow Comedy Show Fundraiser

Last fall, Openarms Youth Project in conjunction with some of Tulsa’s funniest comedians, hosted its 1st Comedy Show Fundraiser. The event was such a success that Tulsa demanded another show. OYP heard that call and is excited to offer another evening away from the stresses of life where you and your friends can gather for fun, laughs, and lighthearted entertainment. The event will be held at the Openarms Youth Project located at 2015-B South Lakewood Avenue in Tulsa, OK. Doors will open at 7:00 PM for a casual reception where attendees will have a chance to meet some of its volunteers and sponsors. The curtains will part at 8:00 PM and attendees will enjoy a line-up sure to turn any frown upside down. Lite appetizers and complimentary wine and beer will be served throughout the evening. Guests must be over the age of 21. All funds raised will directly benefit Openarms Youth Project. OYP offers programs and services to bring Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning youth and their friends together to build a peer based community that empowers them to increase their well being and self-esteem. The judgment-free zone at OYP fosters an environment where all youth can come and feel welcomed. Openarms continues to operate by a steadfast team of volunteers and keeps its doors open by the generosity of donors and sponsors.
