Reading Group

Reading and discussion group! This will focus on intersectionality, modern feminism, and privilege and I hope to meet at least quarterly. This gathering will be held in the Central Library in the Mary K Chapman Children's Meeting Room on the main floor. Our first discussion will center on "We Should All Be Feminists" by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. This is a short but powerful piece, it can be found either at the library, parts of it are online, and it's also a TED talk (video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hg3umXU_qWc). This first event will be in conjunction with the Tulsa Feminists Book Club.
